THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A delegation of 40 startups from Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) will participate in the four-day GITEX Global 2022, which begins on Monday in the Dubai World Trade Center. The delegation will explore business and investment opportunities by showcasing innovative products, technology skills, and sustainable ideas on the international stage. They will go to the “North Star” startup-focused event, which will take place in the Dubai World Trade Center’s Zabeel Hall.
The largest and most diverse tech and startup event in the world is GITEX Global. This year’s GITEX Global will feature the highest number of KSUM-supported startups from a variety of industries, including edutech, cybersecurity, enterprise tech, agri tech, IoT (Internet of Things), media tech, health tech, fintech, insurance tech, and consumer tech.
The KSUM delegation will also go to “India Startups Confluence 2022” in order to link Indian startups with those in the UAE and other Middle Eastern countries with more established ecosystems. The event’s presenting partner is KSUM.
Anoop P. Ambika, the chief executive officer of KSUM, professed confidence in the event’s ability to present entrepreneurs with enormous potential in light of Kerala and the Middle East’s longstanding friendly relationship.
“In addition to providing startups with chances to get commercial and investment possibilities, GITEX Global will provide them with chances to grow their enterprises. These companies will exhibit their goods and services, but they will also look at ways to engage with Middle Eastern investors and expand.
In the meantime, KSUM plans to establish a Global Launch Pad for Indian entrepreneurs in the Middle East so they can benefit from assistance and KSUM activities after being incubated. Should they decide to move to Kerala in the future, KSUM will offer them help as well. On October 15, the team will go to Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park and engage in peer interaction.
